Additional Support
Additional support will be provided mainly by the Health Colleagues whose representatives will check your child annually or more frequently if necessary.
- General Medical - Community Consultant Paediatrician
- Dental Check - School Dentist
- Hearing Test - Audiologist
- Vision Test - Orthoptist
Parents are invited to meet the Paediatricians and School Nurse where this is considered necessary. It is important that you make every effort to be present as such appointments form an integral part of your child's assessment. You will be asked to indicate on your child's Fact Sheet whether you wish to be present at dental, hearing and vision tests.
All children are involved in programmes of personal health and social development, including feeding, dressing and toilet routines.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development forms an integral part of the broad provision of Health Education and is a major part of our work with children.
Some children may be referred to the Clinical Psychologist or the Community Learning Disabilities Team after discussion with parents.
