What have been our successes this year?

  • An excellent OFSTED inspection grading us as outstanding in all areas
  • The school has attained Investor in People status, Healthy Schools status and we have been successful in gaining the Bristol Standard for Early Years Quality Assurance. This recognises the good practice in place at the school and will enable us to plan further developments
  • We have established a range of holiday activities to meet the needs of the children and their parents and siblings
  • A group of 12 children enjoyed the School Holiday residential at Macaroni Woods
  • We host many visitors who are interested in our curriculum and staff have been involved in teacher training with the University of Gloucestershire and Childcare training with a range of local college
  • We offer the full range of Extended Services addressing the national 'Every Child Matters' outcomes
  • We feel that we have an excellent relationship with parents and operate an 'open door' policy
  • We have developed further opportunities for Family Learning
  • We have extended our therapy provision by securing a second Speech and Language Therapist for 2 further days each week, year rouund
  • Development of services to early years children with SEN from birth to three
